The Community Kitchen of Myrtle Beach has been in existence for over twenty-three years. We are in our current facility for over eighteen years. Due to the age of our facility we have experienced major roof leaks and to add insult to injury, we have experienced hail damage that insurance will not cover. Our roof has been evaluated by three major roofing companies and it has been determined that our life expectancy was less than one year of life. A decision was made to have a new roof put on our facility. That is the good news, the bad news is that we have to raise approximately $13,000.00, for our assessment for this new roof. Without a roof over our heads, we are unable to serve the hot nutritious meals and provide clothes to our guests. Please consider making a donation to assist the Community Kitchen, in this endeavor. We are dependent on your support, we receive NO City, County, or State, funding. Please help us, help others. A small donation is better than none.
On behalf of our guests, thank you, “For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, a stranger and you welcomed me, naked and you clothed me…”
Peace and All Good!
