Dear Friend & Neighbor,
We are living through challenging times in both our world and our country. Throughout these uncertain times, The Community Kitchen serves as an anchor to the less fortunate in our community. This year, in addition to distributing food to over 200 families, The Community Kitchen will serve over 94,000 meals, free of charge, to those who come to us because they were hungry. Through our Children’s Hunger Initiative Program, we will serve a record 129,000 meals and snacks, also free of charge, to the children in our community for an astounding total of over 223,200 meals! As you celebrate this holiday season, we ask you to consider giving a gift that will help provide a hot nutritious meal to all those suffering and less fortunate during these trying times. We receive no funding from the City, County, or State of South Carolina! We are dependent on you and all donations are tax deductible!
